Children's Literature for the Educator

IEFA - In Montana, all students in all grades and in all subjects are to be exposed to information about Montana’s Indian nations. This all started when the state adopted a new constitution in 1972. The constitution states:

“The State recognizes the distinct and unique cultural heritage of the American Indians and is committed in their educational goals to the preservation of their cultural integrity”
