NWCCU Accreditation: Overview

FVCC campus guide to the Year 7 Comprehensive Evaluation and Site Visit by NWCCU, Spring 2020

About Accreditation

Accreditation provides FVCC the opportunity to examine the extent of our mission fulfillment across our four Core Themes:

FVCC's Strategic Plan organizes strategies under three broad goals that help us achieve our core theme objectives and mission.

Regional Accreditation

The Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU) is the regional accreditor for FVCC.

Our Year-Seven evaluation and site visit took place on April 27 - 29, 2020.

FVCC's previous comprehensive evaluation took place in Spring 2012, which was followed by a Year One Report to NWCCU in Spring 2013. A Mid-Cycle Evaluation occurred in Spring 2015.
