Off-Campus Login Procedures
FVCC students, faculty and staff can access the library's databases off campus. You will need to use your Network ID (faculty and staff) or Student Portal ID (the same ID used to login to campus computers).
For students, you will enter your user name: firstname_middle initial_lastname, and the password: NEW and 6-digit date of birth) to login to the library website and to access databases. For example--janecdoe and NEW102195.
Primo OneSearch
If you login to Primo OneSearch to search all library resources, you will need to follow these instructions:
You will first need to go the the library webpage. Then follow the procedures on the Finding All Resources with Primo OneSearch page.
Directly Accessing a Database
If you are in Google Scholar or use Databases A-Z to directly access a database, you will need to follow these instructions:
When you click on a Database link, you will need to log in to access that database. See Off-Campus Login Procedures above.
